You Have to be There

It was the night of Dec 26, 2001. Jason, Diane, and I were over her house thinking about what to do for the night. Then we got into a conversation about dreams that we have been having. Mysteriously the dreams were linked to Byberry hospital. So, we decided to take a trip to the hospital that night.

We were not even the least prepared for what we were going to see. When Diane, Jason, and I got off the 14 bus we did not know what to expect.

While walking up the road we saw the buildings to the left and right. On the right we saw the guard stations and decided not to go in on that side. As we walked down the road the place caught more and more of my attention. Then to what appeared was a building. It looked sunken in from the street and there was a park beside it with a baseball field.

As we approached the field beside the building we heard strange noises and saw shadows of figures walking back and forth in one of the broken windows. The air felt even more colder as we went deeper into the park beside the building. Since, there was no other actions as that we went to the building next to the Self-Help building. Diane, Jason, and I walked up to the boarded up door and proceeded to knock. At first there was nothing to be heard, until we knocked again. Then there was a loud grown from the inside. We ran as fast as we could and then we stopped. We ran back to the door and asked for a sign again, but all was quite and nothing was heard.

We continue to go back in hope that maybe we can unlock the dark secrets that lie in Byberry Hospital.
