Who...What Was That?

this little number happened when i was at my friends house. we were up late playing games, the usual. when i all of a sudden felt a presence or something or someone was behind me, i looked behind me and in the stairway (stairway is straight out his bedroom doorway) was to glowing white eyes, like a cats but, he didnt have a cat, and they were much higher up and much brighter. i saw these for almost 3 seconds when the just disapeared. i didnt think much of it because his house has always been wierd like that. when we went to sleep, i looked out the hallway again, i saw those bright glowing whatever they were, and my friend saw them to so we both stared at them for a good 30 seconds. then they disapeared in an instant. we looked at each other and ran to his sisters room, which is 10 feet from his, and went in there. she and her 3 friends she had staying over, were fast asleep. so we went in there and layed down on the floor to sleep. we slept for 2 or 3 hours when i woke up because of a very loud creak. it woke me and 2 other ppl. we saw those same eyes standing in then doorway, 2 girls screamed loud enough that it could have woke the whole neigborhood! the eye things seemed to strech out of view, alls i could seem to say was who...what was that?
