Who/What Was It?

It was in November of 1985, it wasn't really cold yet, quite pleasant out side actually. I was 17 and my best friend was over, when the phone rang and it was my Aunt on the other end of the line. She was calling because she needed my Dad who was an EMT-I because her husband was making gasping sounds. (They live right across a small patch of woods from my parents home)
My parents rushed over there and my best friend and I ran out side and looked across the wooded area to see my Aunts house. No one else was at the house but my mother who was in the living room with my aunt, her son and her daughter. My father was working on my Uncle who had had a massive heart attack. As my friend and I were looking across the woods, I turned to her and said," He's Dead". At that moment a figure appeared on their front porch I am not real sure if it was a figure of a man or a woman. It was dressed in a flowing white robe/ gown not sure which and had long flowing black hair. It went to the edge of the porch and lifted its arms and screamed. I have never heard anything like it before.
When my parents returned home they told me that my uncle was dead and I replied yes I know. I asked Mom if there was anyone else at the house besides them and she replied no. I told her what my friend and I had seen and she said that she, my Aunt and two cousins had never left the living room while my dad was the only emt there to work on my uncle for at least 10 minutes after the figure appeared.
Exactly 2 months after my uncles death, I was sitting at my friends house at the kitchen table with her parents and they all said I turned ghostly white and was staring at the corner of the living room when they asked what was wrong I asked them, "dont you see him?" they replied no. It was my uncle standing in the corner of their living room smiling at me and nodding as if to say I am ok.
Since then I have seen several other relatives that have passed away.
