We Miss You, Nick

About two or three years ago I was hanging out with two of my friends and we were bored. We were in my friend Valerie's room when i decided to play with my oujia bored.
So me, Val, and our friend Taylor sat around the bored and lit three candles. She told us we had to whisper because her dad and step mom were in their room next to her's and would be mad if they knew what we were doing. The walls were thin in her house and we could hear what they were talking about, so they could probably hear us if we didn't whisper. We had the radio on and after a while Val told us she couldnt conentrate, and we should turn the music off. Since the lights were off ad we couldn't find the power switch on her radio, I just unplugged it.
Anyway, after about twenty minutes, the oracle finally started to move. We were supposedly talking to a spirit named Dan and he had recently died, but Val and I accused Taylor (based on the fact that she cracked up every five minutes and her grandfather, coincidentally names Daniel had died three weeks earlier.)
Anyway, we decided to put the board away and just have a seance. We decided to "call back" Nick Alan, an eleventh grader who had gone to the high school in town and had been killed in a drunk driving accident two years before to the date. When nothing happend, we decided to call it quits.
As soon as we let go of each other's hands, the middle candle went out and Taylor got up to turn on the lights. Before her hand reached the light switch, the sterio (still unplugged) clicked on and "Iris" by the Googoo Dolls began blasting from the speakers.
All three of us screamed at the top of our lungs and ran out into the hallway. We ran to her parents' bedroom door and didn't stop screaming until Valerie had started to turn the doorknob. We fell into the room and her step mom looked up and said, "we thought you girls went home". Taylor, Valerie and I looked at each other. "Didn't you hear us screaming?" Taylor asked. "Nope. Everything was quiet until you came in." her dad said.
Totally confused and weirded out, we went back into her room with the radio still on. The middle candle was lit again while the other two had been blown out. The announcer came on the radio and said "We just finished Iris which is dedicated to Nick Alan, may his sole rest in peace. Iris was his favorite song and he we ask you to join the fight against drunk driving in his memory. We miss you Nick."
