Was It Really Them?

there are these old railroad tracks that go along my town with several paths across them to get into certain neighborhoods. well i was walking home from school one day getting ready to cross the tracks when i saw my friend brian and someone else that i didnt recoginize walking along the tracks. it was really weird because they were wearing these black turtleneck sweaters and black seatpants. they looked like they were going to rob a bank or something! well i wasnt looking where i was going (because i was looking at them)and i almost tripped. as soon as i regained my balance i look up at them to see if they had seen me almost fall on my face but they werent there!! there wasnt any paths to cross for at least a half a mile down the track so they couldnt taken one and they werent on mine. thinking that they went through the sticker bushes, i just kept walking. but as soon as i got to my street in my neighbor hood i saw my friend, and the same person that i didnt recognize, heading for the path i had just taken! whats really weird was that they werent wearing their bank robbing outfits...they were wearing jeans and t-shirts. i asked him if he was just on the tracks and he said no!
