The Closet

One night a few days after I moved into my new home, I had just put my kids down for bed and I went to do the dishes from dinner. I turned from the sink to wipe the stove off and i glanced up to see someone standing in the doorway looking at me. When I looked back they where gone. My husband was at work and I was so scared. I grabbed a knife from the butcher block and went into the dinning room. When I entered the room the door on my closet was shuting closed. I stood at the door and listened to what I thought was a child wispering so I asked if someone was there hoping that maybe it was one of my children just being sneeky]but the noise stoped and there was nothing.

I stood there for at least an hour. Numb and crying almost in what I think was shock. I heard my husband key turn in the door and I just broke down. I have never been so terrified. When he heard me in the dinning room he was very alarmed and came running in. I couldnt stop crying. Finely I was able to tell him that there was some one in the closet. He opened the closet and there was no one in there. I am a totaly sane woman and to this day am positive of what I saw and heard. And even now years later I m still scared to be here alone. My daughter who is six years old has also seen a man walk past her door while she was in her room one night fitting the same build as the person I seen,very skinny and tall.

Those two instances are the only times any thing like this has happened in this house but not the only time I have seen a ghost.
