One night I had awoke from a bad dream and was heading to my mom's bedroom when I saw a large man-like figure standing near the door way. I was stunned and shocked so I just stood there for awhile in amazement. I could not make out the face. I could tell it was a man from the build. That next morning when I shared my story with my mom she had told me that she just received the ashes or remains of her step father the morning prior and that we were keeping them in the house until her mom passes so that their wishes to be buried together can carried out. The dark figure I saw was probably mom's step dad. We never witnessed his presence since.
