my daughter who was born in 1994 was the apple of my dad's eye, as he was dying of cancer. she became something he lived for until he lost the battle in feb 1996 before her 2nd birthday. my dad loved camping and fishing all his life and his favorite get away was moss park (orlando, florida)he would go every weekend before his illness. after he passed in feb, my mother took my daughter who was only 18 months old at the time to moss park in april,2 months later, just to get her out for the day. my mother sat on a bench near the dirt road that circles the park and my daughter was playing near the road picking up pine cones, she looked up(as my mother looked at her) and began to wave looking across the dirt road and said, "i love you too papa" and waved! my mother was in shock and grabbed my daughter. when we asked her who she was talking to she said papa was saying i love you and waving at me in the road. a child so would never know the difference and i believe my dad came to moss park to say goodbye to the apple of his eye! to this day i believe my father's soul remains at this park he loved!
