My Sister's Twin

I'm not sure if this is a ghost or angel story, but here it goes. My sister Nicole who is now 16, was a twin, her twin was still born at birth. My mom and dad, thought it would be best not to tell Nicki about Kara (that’s the name they had picked out the other baby.) On Nicki's 5th birthday she said she had a new imaginary friend named Kara, that looked just like her, in her words "it's my friend from the mirror." (a 5 year old would think the reflection would be a friend.) She went on to say, that Kara had come to play because she said she missed Nicki and wanted to be close to her again. Well when my sister came out with this, my mother almost fell to the floor in shock, she started to cry and left the room. This went on for years, but as Nicki grow up she talked less and less about Kara, and today I don't even know if she remembers her. Now I know almost all kids have imaginary friends at one point in their lives, but I think it's just really weird that my sisters looked just like her and named Kara, her died twins name. Kara is not a really popular name, and not one that a 5 year old would really know. Anyway Nicki is now 16 and she still does not know about the real Kara, my mom thinks it's best that way. Well I really don't know what happened all those years ago, if it really was Kara's ghost, and she just wanted to play with her twin, or if it was just an imaginary friend and by chance Nicki named her Kara.
