Mr. Trench

This happened to me about 8 years ago. I am 14 now and still remember this incident clearly. My family and I were sitting in the living room of our house watching television when my mom asked me to get her a glass of water in the kitchen. The kitchen is connected to the living room. Well, I walked into the kitchen and opened the refrigerator, looking for the glass of water. Being the lazy boy that I am, I didn't turn the lights on in the kitchen (after all my parents were a few yards away). I casually glanced to the other side of the kitchen (stupid me, why did I have to look?) and saw a man. He wore a black hat and a long black trenchcoat with what looked like a scarf wrapped around his face, concealing all of his features save for his eyes. He was walking across the end of the kitchen, toward the wall. I was used to "my mind playing tricks on me" so I quickly looked inside the refrigerator for a little while, hoping when I looked back he would be gone. Sure enough, when I looked back, he was gone. He had apparently defied all known laws of the physical realm and literally walked through our kitchen wall. This obviously scared the pants off me, so I got my mom's water and darted out of the kitchen to give it to her. I have not seen him since, but I have given him a name. I affectionately call him Mr. Trench, because of the long black trenchcoat he wore on that night. I still know he's around though. Not to long ago, out of nowhere, a pen that was rested well in the middle of my long wooden bedpost rocketed off of it, though there was no way the wind conjured by my ceiling fan could have done that! When that happened I scolded Mr. Trench and told him to play as long as he didn't break anything in the process. He didn't answer (thank God) or I would have had a heart attack and died at an early age. So I guess you could say that Mr. Trench is a friendly ghost, though you don't want to get on the wrong side of him (LOL).
