Hotel Hall Walker
From: Secret (MAxamis@msn.com) Story type: Ghost Location: Sunrise Lake Hotel, Arizona Source: Form Submission
My partner and I, working the night shift at Sunrise Lake just 45 minutes from Show Low, for security. We were walking through the hotel hallways, checking out the hotel making sure no one was getting too loud or disrupting the hotel guests. It was the night of July 4th after we had done security for the fireworks show earlier that night. We ended up investigating an open door to one of the rooms on the second floor, the manager decided to go with us and we entered the room, when the door slammed shut. the manager tried to open the door but nothing happend. I then made radio contact with dispatch, and we heard the dispatcher loud and clear but she said we where bleeding out of the channel. my radio, only being off the charger for 25minutes went completely dead. we got permission from the manager to break the door, so with night stick weilding we knocked off the door handle, but the hotel doors are around 2-3 inches thick. we pushed the other side of the door knob off and with nothing else holding the door closed we pushed the door but nothing budged. We then heard screaming and people gagging, and throwing up, but no one was in sight. A dark figure of a human with no head came out of the bathroom, it looked like someone was really there just in a dark area, the figure then came towards us with what seemed to be a long stick with a skull on the end with red eyes, and blood dripping from the mouth. My partner fired 3 shots into the figure, the stick was dropped and the figure ran back to the bathroom, we followed closely behind it, we found nothing, and came back to get the stick that was dropped, but all that was left was a burnt outline of where the stick was on the carpet. The door slowly swung open and as we exited the room, a low rumble of laughing was heard. the room was later investigated, becuase shot where fired in that room by an officer. the bullets from his gun hit the wall and the investigater said there was no signs of the bullets entering anything but the wall. Too this day we have not been back to t
he hotel and the room 95 has been haunted ever since.
