Ghost in the Farm

This story happened to my mother about 25 years ago. It was her honey moon with my father. They stayed on my father's family farm that is near Medellin, Colombia.

First of all, the house is about 100 and some years old. It's all made of wood, and has been rebuilt many times. All my uncles and aunts have had ghost stories to tell. But, I'm not going to tell them all, because I don't believe some of them and don't remember all of them. But the one well two I'm writing happened to my mother (I do believe her):

1.)The first story: my mom and where outside of the house, near some trees, when my mother looked to a man that was in a toxedo (it was around 90F or 30C) quite hot to be dressed like that don't you think?. The man was about 30 ft away from both of them. He was tall and had red hair. My mother asked my father who was that guy, but my father didn't see him... So she did not pay attention afterwards. When they returned to Medellin, my mother asked my father's grand mother who that person was, she asked my mother to describe him and she told my mom that he was a member of the family, that he was a little crazy (you know, wearing a toxedo on a farm and with that heat...) and he committed suicide on the farm...

2.)The other story is more simple but for me a little scarier: It was late at night (this also happened to my mom, it seems that she can see ghost), they where sleeping on the second floor, when she heard food steps (but it was the sound of a boot with the wood floor) coming from the stairs, she says that she only heard one boot coming up, but she didn't hear it coming down.... Not that scary, if you may think, but they were the only persons on the farm and the nearest neighbour is about 20 mins on a horse.... Well that's the stories I have to tell by the moment. They may not sound scary as other ones, but they're real. Hope they were not boring. And thanks for reading.
