A very close friend of my mother's had just moved into a new house. While in bed with her husband, she was woken up in the middle of the night by a hand pulling the collar of her shirt, so she was forced to sit upright. The figure was an old man, and he seemed very angry. He kept repeating "C'mon, come with me!"

The man kept trying to pull her out of bed, and it went on for nearly a minute. Then, the voice of an old lady was heard from the doorway. She said "That's not me, I'm over here." The man loosened his grip and seemed to look to the doorway. The old lady repeated "I'm over here." The old man then released his grip completely and went to the doorway. Nothing more was ever seen again.

My mother's friend then decided to do some research on the house. It turns out an elderly man had died in that room. His wife had continued to live in the house, but had recently become ill and moved to a nursing home. My mother's friend also found out that at the old lady had died in the nursing home the same night she had seen the apparitions! The old man must not have realised the his wife had been moved to a nursing home and had come to transport her to the other side, but had mistaken my mother's friend to be his wife. Sweet?!
