Creepy Hotel

ok well this is kind of a short and sweet one. in June of 2001 i was on vacation with my girlfriend. we had gone to Laramie Wyoming for a week and were on our way back. we had been driving all day straight from Laramie. it was about midnight and an extremely bad storm was in the area. we decided to stay the night in Missoula and head home in the morning. since we had some money left over we got a nice room at an Holiday in. we got a whole floor to our selves on the fifth floor over looking a river and part of the highway. it had everything in it king sized bed big tv everything. we were getting settled in for the night and getting ready for bed. the storm was right over us. made it kind of creepy but normal for the missoula area. when we were getting into bed the power went out. my girlfriend had never been in a storm of the extreme that this one had. so she was already creeped out. me coming from south dakota was very used to them. we decided to go to the office and get some candles. we were just about to get in the elevator which was running off the emergency power. as the door opened i stepped in and then got a weird feeling. as i steped out the door literally slammed shut. we went down the stairs and got the candles. as we got to the fifth floor we couldnt figure out which door to go through. the first one that my girlfriend grabbed was locked so i went for the other one. as my girlfriend turned around to do that a loud knocking noise came from the locked one. the door then began to shake violently. my girlfriend then lost it. as we opened the door the the handle on the other door began to try and turn as though someone was trying to get out. i asked if there was someone locked in there. no answer. as we walked down the hall way to our room we noticed all the electric locks on the doors were going crazy latching and unlatching on there own. every door we walked by would give there own violent shutter and then stop after we passed. howling noises came from the room across from ours. when we got back to our room the power came back on. after about an hour we went to bed and i couldnt sleep. about five hard pounds on the wall against the bed came from the other room. then next morning i asked if there was anybody that had checked in next to our room that night. them man said no one had shown up after us. that is my story.
