Case of the Ouija Board
From: Becca (FlavaCrazze@aol.com or BlackDogRedEyes@aol.com) Story type: Ghost Location: My house in Va. Source: Form Submission
This story took place at my house in Virginia. It includes a Ouija board as you may
expect. Well what happened was me, my cousin; Jake, and my friend, Cara played the
Ouija board for some fun because they were spending the night. We did not know what it was there because the thing that moves around was not moved straight and the
ghost (or whatever it was) could not spell good. It said it's name was Devi so that freaked us out and we stopped playing put the
Ouija board up in the closet and got out of the room. We did that because Devi is
very, very, very, very close to devil. A few days later when I went to go in my room to listen to music I ran into my
room. What happened was The door was open the lights were off
(it made it darker because it was already around 8:00)and when I run by the lights are near the door and I try to flick them on as I run
by. Well I missed, as I usually do, and when I passed it I ran through a black dog with red
eyes. When I turned around there was nothing there. So I ran back turned on the lights as I passed running faster I ran into the living room and told my
parents. They did not really believe me at first. That night I skipped my shower because I was so scared and any way I stayed in the house all day so I could not be to
dirty. The next night, I was going to take a hot bath because my muscles ached from a hard game of Football in
P.E. (it was Monday). Well when I turned the water off I heard moving outside of the bathtub.
When I went to open the shower curtain a little to see what it was something growled so I let go and fell back in the
water. I let out a little scream and my mom came and outside the door she yelled "Are you
alright?". Right then the growling stopped, and I said "Yeah, I think". She asked me what happened and I said something growled at
me. When I got dressed and stuff I told my mom, and she said "Maybe it was the Ouija
Board". I was surprised at her. I said "It probly was, can we get rid of
it?" She of coarse said yes, "I didn't want that thing in my house
anyway, it brings bad luck." So we got the Ouija board ripped it up in tiny pieces and through it in the swamp out
back. I have never had trouble since....except that time at my cousin's house...e-mail me for that
story, but I dont think anyone wants to hear it.
