This is a true story. In September of 1990 (I can't remember the date) my son and I were making a puzzle on the floor of our family room which is located in the basement. My son was 3 1/2 years old and I was 8 months pregnant with my second child. It was the middle of the afternoon. I noticed that my son was staring at something behind me, just over my shoulders. I reminded him that it was his turn to put a piece on the puzzle and he didn't respond, but just kept staring. I clicked my fingers in front of his face and with a smile I asked him if he was on the moon. He blinked his eyes, pointed a finger behind me and said: "Mommy, who is that man?". I turned around but all I saw was a blank wall. I replied: "What man honey? There is no one there". But he insisted and said, "Yes Mom, there he is, just standing there, who is he?". I looked again and I started to feel a little nervous. I stood up, walked to the wall and started tapping on it. As I was doing this I reassured him that there was no one there. I felt no cold air. My son did not seem frighten in the least. He shrugged his shoulders, and started playing with the puzzle. I am convinced that he did see someone or something because he is not a child who invented any imaginary friends. He is a level headed child who is very mature. I've spoken about this episode to him 6 years later, although he doesn't remember what happened he does have a natural and fearless curiousness towards ghosts and UFOs. I believe that children have numerous encounters because they are not "preprogrammed" to disbelieve like adults do. thank you.
