Thumps on the Roof

Well, it happened about two years ago. I was 14 and My dad and his friend, his friend's son and I went to our camp one weekend. We have a nice camp. It's a stone camp and it has two floors. It was about midnight I think and me and my friend went up stairs to bed. His bed was about 7 feet from mine, so we talked a while. My dad then came up to bed, too. My dad fell asleep fast and my friend and I were trying to. Suddenly there were a few small thumps on the roof. I figured It was mice inside the celing because we have a few mice running around and we've heard thumps before. Then there was a HUGE thump on the roof that sounded like a bear or something jumped on the roof. It scared me good and my friend was awake to hear it, too. My dad was sleeping good, though, and did not hear it. He's like that. I had a lot of trouble getting back to sleep that night. The next day me and my friend talked a lot about the noises. The next night I fell asleep Quick and heard nothing. In the morning my frien told me what he expeirienced when I was asleep. He had slept on the top bunk on one of the bunk beds that night, wich I knew.

There was a large picture window near the bed and he said that he didn't like looking out at it when he was trying to sleep, and it was creepy because he said he thought he saw shadows. He said he rolled over and faced a smaller window across the room wich I could see out of if I was awake. He said he saw two, large oval shaped, green glowing cat's eyes in the window, staring at him for a long time. He then fell asleep. We've never seen or heard of it again, but I think It still lurks around somewhere around our camp. I just hope I don't run into it.
