The "Thing" in My Room

In 1995, we moved from the city into a relly big, old house in Oyster Bay Cove. The house was huge and beautiful but we got it fairly cheaply because of what we thought was the work that was needed.

The house, when you walk in is a long hallway, and immediatly to the right is a den, the left is a dining room, behind, a giant living room, and then a lot of bedrooms and the library and sitting room and stairs up to the east wing.

Well, I went up the other stairs to the west wing and there were two doors. I opened one and it was a big room with a large bed. I opened the other and there was a little room. I decided to make the big room mine. I went in and un packed, hung a few pictures on the wall, and declaired it mine.

That night, I woke up and I saw a figure walk across the room. It was a lady all in white. She looked at me, and when she did, she had NO EYES!!! I freaked out and hid under my covers. The next night, it happened again. I told my parents and they didn't believe me.

But one day, I had a party and some of my friends sleped over and the next morning, someone said, "Hey Adam. Who was that lady wo came in here last night?" I said "What Lady?" and he said, "The one in white. She looked really wierd."

I did some research and I found out that the house had been built for a daughter and her fiance' by her rich parents and on the day of the wedding, she was in the room (My room) and got so nervous and afraid, that she killed herself in my room. I then told her to "Go Away" and she did. She never returned.
