This story was related to me from my friend who shall remain nameless. But for the sake of this story Ill call him "Bob".

Bob and his family lived in a house in Memphis during his high school years. The attic of the house had at some time been divided into 2 separate rooms one of which Bob used as his bedroom. On several occasions Bob felt as if someone was watching him. So he did a little research into the history of the house and found out that one of the previous owners hung himself in the attic. After he found this out he related the information to his parents who dismissed it and told him he was just being paranoid.

After a time the ghost, who Bob found out was named Coleman, started getting bolder. Bob would lay down to sleep and Coleman would open the adjoining door to the attic to peek in on Bob. Bob would usually just tell him to knock it off and the door would close. Some time later Bob and his friends where downstairs in the living room watching TV when they heard the noise of someone running down the only set of stairs in the house which lead to the attic. The door would slam and then they would hear the noise of someone in the kitchen rummaging through the silverware drawer then the door to the upstairs would open, slam shut and the sound of someone running up the stairs again. Bob again told his parents and they again dismissed it.

One night though Bobs parents where in watching tv when they heard the noises. Someone running on the stairs, rummaging through the silverware then running back up the stairs. Bobs father got up to see what the heck was going on. when he got to the kitchen he saw a huge mess. Silverware all over the floor, a jar of peanut butter open on the counter and bread all over the place. Bobs father was really mad at this point and yelled up the stairs for bob to come down and clean this mess up. Just at that time though Bob pulled up the drive way in his truck.........
