The Haunted Woods

When i was about 16 years old me and 3 of my friends had decided to camp out in the woods. The woods was near my friends house just right off the property. We should have known something was amiss when the evening started. There was not a cloud in sight it was a bright sunny afternoon. We were getting our campfire started when all the sudden it began to rain just over our camp site. At first we thought nothing about it but when we would walk away to find wood for the fire it was dry as a bone. We eventually got enough wood to start our fire and when we went to light it the rain came down harder. Finally we took a capful of gasoline and pour it on an old rag and lit it that way. The flame instead of going up spread out in 4 paths each coming toward one of us. Then as if nothing happened the fire took hold.

Not much else happened until it got dark. we were all sitting in the tent telling ghost stories and her dog came up growling at the side of the tent. My friend who lived there told us to be quiet because maybe a coyote had come up near the campsite. As we sat there frightened but quiet we noticed another dog come up the other side of the tent. We all huddled together in the center of the tent when all the sudden her dog lunged at the other dog. There was a chaotic fight going on outside the tent between the two dogs, when her dog crashed down on the tent ripping it open. This may not sound too much like a ghost story to you but the thing of it was was when the dog (buster) came thru the tent he was still fighting the other dog, only we could not see another dog. We could sit and see where something was grabbing buster but yet there was no other dog there. Finally the dogs took off into the woods so we took off into the house.

There have been many more freaky occurrences that have taken place there at the woods but in order to tell you all i will be here all day. I will send in more stories of the haunted woods again some day.
