The Haunted VCR

This event scared the living crap out of me since I am only 13. Here goes. 

I was sitting at my computer typing a long research report that was due the next day. (I'm a procrastinator, I know.) I noticed my VCR turn on and start rewinding. I was a little freaked, but I passed it off as some weird electrical thing. When it spit out the tape I got kind of spastic, because I hadn't recalled a tape being in there. So I was like, oh god. I went to look at the VCR remote, and it was sitting flat on the table. It couldn't have fallen and nothing was there to fall on it and press any buttons. I looked at the VCR. As I watched it it turned off and then on again. Then the little door opened and shut. I was so scared. I checked behind the entertainment center where all the plugs were.

The VCR was not plugged in.

From that day on I have not used that VCR nor have I plugged it in. It still does that and I am convinced it is haunted.
