The Figure

This story happened a few years ago at the Provo Mental Hospital. I was with my friend "Dana", and two guys I will call "Aaron" and "David".

We went up to the hospital because they frequently have haunted houses there in October, but we wanted to go up and check it out while there were no people there. So....we went up to the castle part of the hospital and climbed up the ampitheater seats and went to the windows of the castle. As Dana and I approached the shutters on the windows slammed shut and we screamed and ran down the ampitheater. We decided to leave the castle and go over to the park where the patients have their outings in the daytime.

When we got to the park we got out of the car and followed behind the guys we were with. We headed toward a "tunnel" of sorts that was made of overgrown trees. The "tunnel" leaded back to the castle part and we wanted to walk through it because it was kinda creepy. So "Aaron" and "David" went in ahead of me and Dana and started through the tunnel. I told Dana that I was scared and she said she was too. (You should note that both of us are extremely sensitive to paranormal phenomenon and this is how we became close friends.) Anyhow, we put our arms around each other and started to walk to the "tunnel". All of a sudden I felt an arm go around me and there was the LARGE shadow of a man silhoutted behind me and Dana. I screamed and turned around to face the shadow/man. Dana ran to the "tunnel". When I turned around there was nothing there. I started screaming for Dana and she ran to me. I said "Dana did you see that? Did you feel that?" She said "What the shadow?" S! uddenly a tremendous wind went through the trees and "Aaron" and "David" ran towards us yelling that there was some man at the end of the tree tunnel. We ran away and got in our car and left.

Dana and I will never forget that moment and have experienced several other "Paranormal" experiences together.
