Singing Ghost?

I am now 35 year's old. But when i was 11 to 13 i remember my sister and a friend went to spend the night at a friend's house. The house was an old farmhouse with a lot of room's you know the spooky kind. 

Anyway the next day my sister's friend said she woke up in the middle of the night. And there was an old man staring at her under the cover's laughing crazily. She said she pulled the cover's back and he was gone. She pleaded with me and her brother to spend the night to see if it would happen to us. And we did. 

But nothing happened to us. Time went by and i heard nothing else of the old house. Until about 6 or 7 year's ago. I heard another story about the house. The same family still lived there. They had a daughter around 4 or 5 year's old. I heard that she was singing a song on a portable tape recorder. But when she played it back there was a voice of an old man on the tape singing with her? 

There must have been something there but apparently it didn't like boy's?
