On October 2, 1999 my friend Jesse was having a party on his families property out on Canyon Lake, Texas. They own about 2500 acres. We had all been drinking, and I had about 2 or3 beers. (And that's all that it takes for me.) I was laughing and carrying on, like I usually do. I jumped up and said that I wanted to tell ghost stories. Jesse told me that if I wanted to get scared that i should go with him. Six more people wanted to go with us. We hopped in someone's truck and drove about 10 minutes before Jesse told us to get out, because this is where we have to walk.

There were only 2 girls there. Me and Ashlin. We were wearing shorts. The grass (or whatever that was) was getting thick. DJ stopped and looked down. He was glowing. I looked down and so was I. It was like we were in a black light. I got so freaked. I was glowing. Soon we heard noises like there were people running through the grass right beside us. The things that were running through the grass, now they were climbing the trees.

I burst into tears and demanded that we go back to the truck. They all complied. once we got to the truck Jesse told us that he wanted to take us one more place before we go back. I agreed. He took us to an old Indian cemetery. And this was really a cemetery. There was a wall, and a gate and tombstones. We drove around it, and they decided that they wanted to go inside. We parked about 20 feet away. I wanted to stay, and everyone else wanted to go inside, and there was no way that I was going to stay alone! So we got out and walked. The closer that we got the stranger things got. We saw something approaching us, it appeared to have a human shape, and red eyes. We all hauled ass back to the truck and got in. When DJ got in, something pulled him back out of the truck onto the ground. He jumped up, and jumped in. We drove out of there so fast! On the way back we kept seeing people run in front of the truck. I saw someone sitting between 2 trees, cross-legged as we drove by.

There is also a house out there that is said to be haunted. We drove by it and saw something flicker in the window, but there was no way that we were going inside.

I am not sure what is out there. Jesse lives on that property, and to see him scared scared me even more!
