I'm the son of two ministers, so I've heard some strange things over the years, but this is maybe the strangest. 

My cousin operates a child rehab center in Phoenix, which helps children from abused families. Anyhow, the employees of the facility began seeing a child in the halls that none of them recognized. They all went to my cousin anonymously because they didn't think anyone else would believe them, and they told her their stories. None of them had told anyone else, but they all gave my cousin the same account. 

She looked through the center's records, and found a picture of a file matching the ghost in the halls. The child had been at the rehab center for a few years before going back to her abusive family. The day she went home her father beat her to death. The rehab center was her one safe haven in this world, and obviously in the next.
