I have a three year old nephew, Christopher. He is the most amazing boy I have ever met. He is so intelligent for his age. He's beautiful, friendly and creative (I'm not just being bias either). One day while my sister and I were driving in the car Christopher told my sister to lower the music. My sister said "Why?" Christopher replied, "the man is trying to talk". My sister and I looked at each other and ignored it. On the way back we took the same highway as on the way there. In the same spot as he had said something before about "the man", he started to point and shake. I asked him what was wrong and he just kept shaking as though he was cold. His eyes were wide open and his mouth was clenched. My sister got off the highway and stopped the car. When she asked him if he was okay (and after checking him out) he just said "go away". My sister said okay and just started to drive. He repeated "get away" until we had gotten to my mother's house.

Later that day a friend of the family came over for dinner. As soon as he walked in the door Christopher grabbed my leg and started saying "he looks like the man". I didn't understand him and so I picked him up saying "no, sweety it's J." Christopher wouldn't go near him until I kissed and hugged J.

A few days later my brother-in-law and I and Christopher were driving on the same highway as the other day. In the same spot Christopher started saying "the man" and pointing. Then he grabbed his head saying "he's hurt his head real bad". My brother-in-law got really freaked. Later that night my brother-in-law told me that at that exact spot on that highway is where his best friend was hit and killed by a car. His friend suffered multiple injuries including head injuries. What's more is that J is my brother-in-law's best friend's brother and looks exactly like his deceased brother.

Christopher will also stop and say "the man", but with a smile, in my sisters house. The ironic thing is that my uncle and grandfather used to live in that house and he stops and says "the man" with a big smile and arms out waiting for a hug. I get the chills whenever I see it. I'll sometimes go into the bedroom and see Christopher standing there with his arms out and laughing as though he were dancing with someone. It is strange and amazing, but very, very comforting.

Children are so innocent and so open minded. I'm not one bit skeptical at stories of children seeing "strange" things.
