My mother came to live with my husband and I when she became ill. She lived for close to six months with us. She was a very personable woman, well educated. But she was a loaner and did not like pets and refused to get close to one. Well she seemed to be happy with us and she did start getting close to our cat and dog which was just a puppy at the time.

My puppy loved her and would spend a lot of time with her in her room and every evening i would fix her some microwave pop corn, she loved it and when she ate it she would share it with our puppy Spritz. It was kind of neat when she said to us one day that our pets were her pets now to.

Well when our puppy would get excited he would act silly and jump around and wag his tail and would widdle on his self, he was still just a pup and he couldn't control his self. Right at 2:00AM our puppy woke my husband and i up at the very same time and our puppy was standing in our hall way facing my mom's room the door was closed and was acting very excited, wiggling around like he does when he sees someone he loves and whining and also widdled his self.

My husband and I got out of bed went into the living room and looked at one another and both said at the same time moms here to say good bye. We both said good bye to her and told her that we loved her and was going to miss her very dearly and told her it was ok for her to go on to her place in the after life. My mother did not trust doctors and did not believe she was ill and would not take her very needed medications to stay alive and she really did not know she was dieing until the day she died. She had to ask the nurse if she was dieing. She was right with her creator but truly was not ready to die. She was so miserable at the end I couldn't handle seeing her suffer so the family and I asked her doctor to please take her out of her misery and he gave her a inhaler with a type of medication to nock her out and she sort of went into a unconscious state of mind and died in her sleep. I often wonder with her not realizing she was dieing did she go on to the other side.

I pray she is in heaven where she belongs.

May God Bless her and keep her in his care.
