Okay i knw that this sounds like the typical ghost story but it is indeed true and this experience is very spiritual and a very dear experience. I have several family members confirm this experience.

In 1991 i came to live with my mother in New Orleans, La. i was devastated becasue all my life i have lived with my grandmother in MS. She was the nicest person in the world and the only person i knew as Mama. Well that May when i went to visit her it was something even more better about her she had this look of relief and seem as if she had never be happier to see me. That night I had only one thing in mind and that was to sleep with my grandma. So my mother climbed in the next bed in the same room after we all prayed together, That morning while i was snuggled next to her my Grandma was having a heart attack right then and there. My mother rushed her to the hospital where they had confirmed that it was indeed a heart attack. Well Grandma held on to here dear life until she was able to see all of her kids one last time. i was talking with my grandmother like when we first arrived and she told me she had a clock there i used to play with when i was a baby and that i s! hould take it home when i returned to new orleans.

okay now here is where it all goes down. Late one evening while my mother was at the hospital with my Grandmother she called home and told me that Grandma had passed away. i went into a violent tantrum and didnt want to be consoled, I was so hurt that the only person i knew as moma was gone. Later that night after i had calmed down and was beginning to finally tire out form my fits i laid there on the sofa next to where my mom was and fell asleep. My mother had fallen asleep on the love seat and my uncle (her brother) was sleeping on the floor near us. All of a sudden there was a cool draft in the room and it smelled of Estee' a perfume that only my Grandma wore when going to church. We all sat up and looked at each other> My uncle is a heavy heavy sleeper and has never been awaken this easily. There were no windows opened nor doors that could have created this cool draft in the room. It was blowing to the back of th! e house towards the hall. I began crying again hysterically calling her and reaching for her then once again the draft came through again Smelling of my grandma's perfume then all of a sudden after the draft passed we heard the sliding of her house slippers going down the hall. and then fading away. It appears that she came back to the house one last time before making her journey.

now about the clock.... I went and found the clock it was a toy hickory dickory dock clock that played the tune. It was set at exactly 2:20pm the exact time my grandma was pronounced dead i tryed to turn the hands on the clock so it would play the tune but i wou;dnt turn no matter how much force i used or who tried to make it work. Guess what that clock didnt work until my grandmother was laid to rest. Later a thought cross my mind that she knew the day and time that her death would occur and set that clock to the exact time. If it was a coincidence why didnt the hands on the clock turn or did! it not play the tune until she was laid to rest.

My Grandmother was a very spiritual person and was said to have been born with a veil over her face at birth. meaning she was able to foresee and see spirits. i would not make up anything of such about my Gradma i love her that much and i wish she were still here. Both my mother and my uncle can tell you this exact same story word for word. I know this story isnt scary and may not even be as interesting but the experience is very dear to me and i thought i would share it with the rest of you.
