Mom Story
From: Nina Mule' Lyons (nmule@ccac.edu) Story type: Ghost Location: Pittsburgh PA Source: Form Submission
My mother passed over three years ago yesterday (December 18th) so I thought I would relate our paranormal interactions with her. She herself was a deeply spiritual person and she view death with a great deal of courage and saw it as just another part of life. She really knew her time had come and was more prepared that we even knew.
When she passed, my father told me to get all of her jewelry out of the house. She always told him that it was very important to her that I got the jewelry and not someone else. Her fear was that someone else in the family would get the wedding rings and other things.
Before she went to the hospital she had done many things such as.. pay off all bills ..make arrangements for her own funeral and hide her valuables. However, she forgot to tell anyone where the valuables were.
A good friend of mine is a sensitive (Jayne) so at the wake we asked her to "talk" to my Mom and give us some indication of where the "valuables" were. Jayne told us she told her a "purple flowered bag" in a drawer. Sure enough, my father found a purple and pink flowered bag in a drawer with all of her rings. Jayne also told us she told her she was really tired and just wanted to rest. So try not to bother her right now. ( this was something she had said while alive.. she wished she could just rest.. please) (Jayne did not know this)
In addition, both of my out of town brothers had experiences with my mom. Each one of them had felt her hand on their face while in bed. As if to say "goodbye"
This happened before they knew she had passed.
In my house, our television goes on and off, mostly when my father comes by. We usually ask "Josephine" (my mom) to leave the TV alone and she will stop doing it.
Its funny, I never get scared of these interactions with my mom. I still feel she is just stopping by to be near us and we still feel her love.
