This is the first paranormal thing I personally have ever witnessed, but I know many people who have had more experiences.

Eight years ago, when we first moved into our house, I was alone in the living room. I started to walk towards the stairs when I noticed something on the front door. It was an outline of a skull that shown green. I looked around for something that could have made the shadow, but there was nothing. I didn't tell anyone because I thought it was just my imagination, but now as I think on it, it wasn't.

A few years later as I was sitting the office with my mom I heard a tremendous boom that sounded like it was coming from within the wall that was closest to the door. No one else was in the house and I never did find out what caused it.

I don't think it was a ghost because no one else had lived in this house before us and none of my relatives or any close friends had died. 

Does anyone have an explanation?
