Ghost in the Fire

It must have been when i was 5 or 6 i don't remember exactly. My parents were very poor and couldn't afford much for us kids. when i say kids i mean me and my four sisters. We all moved in to this tiny little shack house in Stockton NY. 

well we lived there for about 1 year and during this year several unexplainable things started to happen one night my dad decided he was going to go to Jamestown to find work and left my mom and us four there by are selves well unfortunately it was the middle of winter and we where fresh out of fire wood so my mom had to burn an old high chair that we found in this little shed out back. my mom got the fire going and we all settled in to bed we all slept in front of the fire after all the shack was only three rooms living room ,kitchen, bathroom that was it as we where laying there a strange thing began to happen with in the fire a name began to appear to us the name was david at the time we dint know what the name meant but i remember being unable to sleep the whole night because i was afraid that if i fell a sleep that the ghost in the fire would get me i guess i must have fallen a sleep cause when i awoke an image was there standing by the fire place it was the image of a little boy with blonde hair. i blinked my eyes a couple of times cause i though i was dreaming. I quickly went over and woke up my mom to show her the little boy when i finally got her to wake up the little boy was gone well we went to the owners of the house with the strange occurrence and they told us of a little boy that had died in a brush fire out back of the shack it was determined that the little boy had been playing with matches but no one really knows the truth
