Hi. I'm under 15, above 11 and a very strong believer of the supernatural. I believe in ghosts, witches, and aliens. People at school often come to me if something has happened to them that has to do with the supernatural. I used to be scared of ghosts, I mean terrified, but I find my fear is lessening, and Elly is the one I thank for that.
Elly is the ghost in my house. I named her that because it sounded cute and helped me to cope with the strange happenings around my home. No one else in my family (3 other people) really care, and they don't really believe. Sometimes my sister (older) will get freaked and I'll be the one to calm her down. 'It's just Elly', I'd say.
She never shows herself and never really makes herself known, except when she's in my room, I just get a feeling and I know it. It seems like she's always trying to be quiet as to not alarm me. I think it's because she doesn't want to scare me. I usually just yell out 'It's ok Elly, I'm not scared'. It help's sometimes.
I actually talk to her sometimes. Well, she doesn't talk back, but somehow I know she's listening. Now to get on with explaining what she does.
When I was little, and I can vividly picture this, I heard a woman's voice calling my name and it sounded like it was coming from downstairs. So I followed the sound but when I reached a closet in the basement, she stopped, but I wasn't scared. I did that a few times when I was little. Then she started to whisper in my ear at night like, two or three times a month. Kind of like she was helping me sleep. She's say thing's like: 'Go to sleep my child, it's late', things like that. I wasn't ever scared though, and it still happens.
Then, a few days ago I went to take a bath. I turned on the water and all of a sudden, about 4 second's after I turned it on, I felt an overwhelming burst of fear, then, call me crazy, but I felt hands on my back, but they weren't trying to push me in. Out of fear I whirled around but there was no one there, the fear slowly went away, as so did the presence I felt. I think I made her feel bad so she left the room.
A lot of things happen in my house, it would take me years to tell everything. This is getting long so I'll submit again later. Thanks for reading.
