My friend, Brooke, told me about something that happened at her house a few years ago and I just decided to contribute this story. It may not sound too scary but I'm sure if it happened to you it would be slightly different. 

She says her mother was up late one night and she wasn't ready to got to sleep so she started to read a book. Every time she started to read she heard wind chimes outside but they were louder than normal so she would stop reading and so would the chimes. She would begin to read again and the chimes would begin blowing loudly in the wind. She went through this a few times and then went outside to see what was going on. 

She opened the front door and there was nothing there so she went back in the house in which by the way her mother (Brooke's grandmother) had died. She again began to read and again and again she heard the wind chimes only when she was trying to read. So again she went outside and this time when she opened the door there was a calming white light and she just stood there for a minute or so staring. 

She said it was strange yet calming. 

I was scared to stay the night there again.
