My parents converted our old Garage and maids room into a type of flat. It was all very nice and we also installed a pub and games room. here is my story. 

I always felt that someone else was in the flat and always ran to turn on the light when entering the flat. I used a small battery operated alarm clock to wake me in the morning. this i used to place under the bed as the ticking used to keep me awake. 

One night all of a sudden the alarm woke me I jumped up on went to turn the alarm clock off, but found that it was only 1 am in the morning. I thought maybe the alarm for some reason had just become faulty and readjusted the clock and then placed it again under the bed, about 2 minutes later the clock went off again. 

This time I was very scared and the funny thing was it was not even turned on. I then thought that for some reason I was meant to stay awake and so I did. 

Nothing happened though but I was remember that night almost 15 years ago.
