One Word

I will tell you right now this is a religious story, but please read on whether or not you believe in christianity. A famous christian missionary named Sam Sasser was on a mission to the Marshall Islands.

He had picked up a little bit of the native language from previous missions. He traveled to a small tribe located on one of the Islands and was given a show.

The tribal witch doctor told him that he would demonstrate the power of his God. The witch doctor and other members of the tribe walked a young tribal lady to an altar they had in the village.

The danced around her for hours, chanting, fires blazing, and after many hours of this the lady was levitated from the altar. The witch doctor turned proudly to Sam Sasser, almost as if to say, "See my god, see his power."

Sam Sasser stood up and said one word, "Jesus." The lady fell immediately. 'Many hours of chanting and dancing to lift and lady off of an altar, and in one word, one second she fell..wonder which God the witch doctor thought was more powerful after that.'
