My mother suffered a severe stroke and was in a coma for 6 months in a nursing home before she passed on. Three days before she died, I was at home, ten miles away from her. I was in bed just nearly asleep when she drifted down from the ceiling and kissed me on the forehead. I couldn't see her but I felt her kiss and somehow I knew it was her. I got up and called the home because I thought she had died at that time, but she hadn't. Also, when she did die around midnight, my dad knew she had died before anyone came to tell him. He was sitting at the kitchen table waiting for someone to come tell him.
