I grew up in a house with an alcoholic violent father. I am sure my Guardian Angel is what kept me sane through the ordeal. I would be walking home from school and would instinctively know that my father would be home in one of his rages.

As I got older I would know that something was about to happen to someone before it did. Soon after I got married, my husband an I were going to go to a town about 30 miles away. We were getting ready to walk out the door and a voice screamed "Don't Go!" It was so strong I started crying and shaking. At first my husband was skeptical , he finally realized how upset I was and agreed to stay home. Later that evening we were watching the news and heard there had been a horrible accident and many people had died on the same highway we would have been on. Now he listens to me.

I have had numerous experiences like this all of my life. Sometimes I won't be able to pinpoint exactly who I'm sensing a feeling about and sometimes I will know. My most recent experience happened about 3 weeks ago. I had this strong sense that I should go visit my father. I called a friend to ride along and when we got there he was laying in bed very weak and confused. I decided to take him to the Dr. on the way there he had a bad seizure, he was in the hospital for 3 days and is now in a nursing home. The doctor said if I hadn't been there, he probably would have died.

I used to be afraid when this would happen but now I realize is my special gift from God and my Angel keeps me safe.
