I am a nurse in one of the top hospital here in Manila. My story is about my former patient who was admitted in Stroke Unit to rule out Stroke in the Young. When she came in, she can communicate thru whispering, she had severe body weakness including both upper and lower extremities. On her second day of admission, while her parents and a close priest friend visited, she suddenly verbalized "Mom, here is my friend I want you to meet him." The mother and the priest were both stunned because no other person was with them. Later, when she regained her consciousness, the mother asked her child who her friend was. She said his name was St. Gabriel and he said he's not going to take her away. After that incident, she regained her strength and was discharged.
