On September 2, 1988 my best friend and I were going to go to my sisters house in Laguna Hills. I had to work that night, so we left late, sometime around 10:30 or 11:00pm. Anyway, we were on the 14 freeway when I saw something in the road that I thought was a person. I didn't have enough time to consider why a person was lying in the middle of the freeway, so I swerved to the left (towards the median) then had to swerve back to the right so I would not hit the wall. When we swerved back to the right, we flipped, what the report says to have been 5 or 6 times. The mountain is what stopped us. We were in a Ford Bronco.

Anyway, I was awake and looked at my best friend. She had blood from head to toe, and was unconsious. Everything on me hurt, and I was having a very difficult time breathing. The last thing I remember thinking was that Rita (my best frind) was out cold, and the steering wheel was so far into my chest that I could not breathe, nor move, I wasn't sure how we were going to get out.

Then, out of nowhere, a man with dark brown hair, and white pants and shirt, came up to my window and somehow, just picked me up and layed me on the ground behind the car. The next thing I remember was the police trying to wake me up. I too had passed out. We later learned that the first man to reach the scene had said I apparently had gotten Rita out of the car and layed her down because she was still out, and I was up wandering around, lost. He said I kept saying "a man in white had gotten us out" but he said no one was there but us and him. It turns out that the "person" I saw in the freeway, ended up being a motorcycle. A motorist had a spill and decided to just leave his bike there, while he sat on the side of the freeway.

Rita and I are both fine, but the whole accident ended up being 18 or 19 seperate accidents by the time it ended, or so we heard.

Oh, something funny about this too, all of a sudden I saw this "white" light, and I knew from what I had heard before that I was suppossed to go towards the light, but I couldn't find myself to walk towards it, then all of a sudden I heard my name and opened my eyes. The "white" light was the light in the ER. I thought I was dying and going to see my maker. I have to say, I am convinced the "man in white" was my own Guardian Angel, but I was disappointed that he never said a word to me. He saved my life but I would have liked to have heard his voice. Thank you for reading my story.
