Angels Came for My Mom

My Mom had been having breathing problems (complications from smoking). She had been in the hospital and intibated the year prior to this. She had C.O.P.D. before being transferred to a vencore unit she was sent to Boca community hospital. She had been in a place called white hall and been severely neglected. She needed lots of medical attention at this point. I stayed with my Mom every night and helped wash her, feed her etc.

One night she was drifting in and out and said to me "I'm going home" I wondered what she was talking about. I must have had a puzzled look on my face. She then explained that the Angels were there for her to take her home. I began to panic. I asked can you wait a few days? I wanted to get my sister from N.C. so she could see my Mom. She said yes, she wouldn't be going for a few days. She then told me she was going home day 1. I drove to N.C. and got my sister. I felt the urgency to get all the family together that sunday night.

We were all there 5 kids, my Dad & my husband & a few friends. Monday Mom started acting odd. Tuesday she seemed to sleep alot so we decided to keep someone with her around the clock. Wednesday morning I woke up early and called the funeral home to make preperations. Went to the hospital early that day, as I walked through her door My Mom took her last breath. It was October 1, 1997. It was Day 1.

No one believed me when I told the story of the Angels coming for Mom...No one said anything about it again either. I will never forget. I know there is life after death and Angels too. For differen't reasons I didn't type the religious parts of the story. I will gladly tell the details in an e-mail.
