Dreams Come True - Over and Over
From: Mel (Meldog1973@aol.com) Story type: Channelling Location: Boston Mass Source: Form Submission
Hi there - I usually submit ghost stories, but my ghosts are quiet lately.
Let me preface this by saying that I am a dreamer. I have between 5 and 10 dreams each night of my life. Needless to say, I have a fabulous imagination. I'm lucky enough to remember at least 2 dreams I have each night, or up to 5 or 6 if I wake up and write them down immediately!
I would like to tell you about some of the dreams that I have had over the past few years. It doesn't happen as often anymore, but every once in awhile, I will have a dream that will come true or a very similar situation will happen usually the next day.
The most popular dreams I have involved the elevators here at work. In my dreams, they either fall, or go up VERY quickly (giving me that sick feeling), or get stuck. 90% of the time, I come to work the next day and someone has been stuck in the elevator that day, or it is not working at all. A few of my friends find this very strange. I have told them about the dreams in the morning, only to find the elevators not working in the afternoon.
The most bizarre dream-come-true experience I had happened just last summer and involved me looking at a map of Massachusetts (where I live). I saw "Holland" on the map and put my finger on it. I had never heard of Holland Mass before, and I knew I was dreaming, so I assumed it did not exist. I just left it and went on with my dream. I can still see that map in my head! The next night, my boyfriend and I were talking. He said "My friend has invited us to his party, but it's quite a drive - he lives in Holland Mass." I must have paled because he looked concerned and asked me if I was okay. I nearly fell off my chair!! I said "WHAT did you say?" and he repeated it. Sure enough, he said Holland Mass.
A number of years ago, I dreamed about a fire at a Christmas Tree Shop at a shopping center I visited frequently. It was only a snippet of a dream, just a fire at that location. I went to that center the same day I had the dream. It was hot, about 85 or 90 and sunny, but not overwhelming heat or anything. We pulled into the parking lot and one of the green bushes out front was on fire. Just that one bush - all by itself. It was very odd, to see that one green bush (green usually won't burn unless it's "helped along") I had told my mother about the dream and she was amazed. Hell, I was amazed!!
My last experience involved dreaming about my desk at work. It was covered with broken glass. Again, just my desk, and broken glass. No plot or characters. That day at work, my phone rang. My boyfriend (same one) had put his hand through a window by accident and was just home from the hospital with four stitches. I never told anyone about that dream, so I was the only one who knew about it. Funny, cuz I usually have such a big mouth about these things :)
That's all for now. Thanks again for reading.
Mel.
