Ouija Boards are NOT toys

My husband and I borrowed a Ouija Board from another couple because we felt there was a presence in our basement. Several weeks earlier, an electrician working down there alone in early evening had felt it too and refused to finish the job until broad daylight and when others were present.

We used the board at night after our kids were in bed, but we had with us two male teen-aged exchange students - one from France and one from The Netherlands. We asked the standard questions and of course we were getting answers, but in the back of my head I kept thinking my husband was moving the pointer.

Our city was originally settled by Belgians, so we asked the entity if it had come from there and it indicated yes. The Dutch boy began to ask it questions in Dutch...and it responded, in Dutch. I do not speak Dutch and neither does my husband, so it was then that we both had to realize that this was a real exchange with a spirit entity and it made me almost physically sick with dread. Conversation continued in Dutch for some time, with the student (not touching the board) translating for us. We asked some more questions in English too and there is no doubt in my mind that the entity was who and what he said he was. We gave the thing back to our friends the next day and I will never allow this thing in my house again.
