The Winding Tunnel

Eighteen years ago i gave birth to my son who was born healthy. After the birth i had hemorrhaged (losing blood) whilst the nurses and doctors where working on me trying to do whatever they were doing. i was slowly becoming unconscious through loss of blood, blurry vision etc as you can imagine! At one point i remember trying to get up but i was so drained and weak and felt helpless. so then after that i was above myself looking over my body looking, not worried or in pain anymore but then came a deep dark slow winding tunnel. i could not see at the end apart from in a distance a light that i could not reach. i was floating slowly towards whatever it was, but then i woke up after surgery and on machines in intensive care and and this experience came to my head straight away thinking did that really happen? but to this day i can see this in my mind very clearly and will never forget what i encountered on that day 13-11-1993. I hope somebody else can relate to this as it has always made me wonder.
