My Out of Body Experience

In 2007 i sustained a gunshot to the neck and the next thing i knew i was on the cold floor (concrete tile), i remember trying my best to get up but couldnt. i tried with all my might to get up, but all that was happening was a foot shake. i tried moving one foot but it couldnt move, tried the other and it shook. it was the only part of me i remember that could move a little bit. i gave up trying to get up after about maybe 2 minutes or so, after realizing i was totally helpless in moving this heavy 180lbs body. so i started getting cold, and i thought this is what happens to people who are about to die. i started thinking of all the wrong ive done, thought about my honda civic outside that couldnt save or help me now, somehow i just became engulfed with the thought that all material things on earth is so unimportant or irrelevant.

i felt a urge to value simple good deeds, help other people maybe voluntary etc. and somewhere during that time i just caught a glimpse of myself, it was scary. it mustve lasted a couple a seconds but i saw myself, it was like god just gave me a quick flash of myself, and i thought to myself, i am not fit or ready to die as yet, i havent even fathered a child yet, and i was back in my body, well thats how it felt. for the few seconds it lasted it really woke me up (not literally) cause i attempted to talk with someone, but i was sounding like marlon brando in the god father, and the next thing i was on a helicopter going to the uwi (university of the west indies) it was like i was in shock for a day or two, but when i gained full consciousness i had a paralized right arm.
