I Said Yes

At nineteen, I fell into psychosis. I hurt myself in suicidal gestures. Then when my parents left Geneva, Switzerland for Los Angeles, California after living in Geneva for nine years, I fell into an even deeper psychotic state and I hurt myself to the point of having surgery. When I was coming out of the surgery, out of anesthetic, I felt myself clawing my way out of a dirt tunnel. It was filled, lined with a blue light, the color of blue jays wings, not blue birds, not a cheerful blue. There was a figure at the end of the tunnel, standing against a white light, with green fields behind him. He filled the whole end of the tunnel. I was clawing my way furiously out of the dirt, feeling the weight of the world on my person, lifting, struggling to lift the world off my body. He watched me for a long time, til I could reach my arm and hand out to him. Then He took my hand in his, and very gently said;"would you like to go back and try again?" I said:"Yes". and I woke up in a terrible way to a friend waiting for me to wake up. I had said Yes. And I never hurt myself again.

I am 57 now and still have a lot of work to do to get back into that Light. I know He is there, waiting for me to finish my work here on Earth. I feel His protection always.
