Bed Shaking

hello, i live in roanoke va. and for the past 3 years have lived in a beautiful home in an old mountainous community. We have 6 acres and an old cemetery on our property. several people are buried there and they date back to the late 1800's. things began to happen here soon after we moved in. things like crystal candy dishes sliding across the table by themselves, doors slamming in the middle of the night, hearing voices, but one event in particular really got my attention. one morning while sleeping in my bed, i slowly became aware that my head was moving from side to side. i began to wake more and more and realized my head was moving from sided to side because my bed was moving from sided to side. the bed was rhythmically shaking back and forth. once i became awake enough to focus, i laid there feeling the bed move for another 10-15 seconds or so and as i shot up quickly to the sitting position the bed stopped moving abruptly. I have no explanation for this event.

Other things that have happened in this house, i can sort of explain away by telling myself that the dog must have knocked the table moving the candy dish or the dog must have jumped on the door slamming it shut, or that voice i heard is just my ears playing tricks on me.

The shaking bed incident is still baffling to me and i think of it often. it hasnt happened since and most likely wont happen again, but this was a real tangible experience that could not be logically explained by any reason and deeply affected me.

other things have happened here as well. it seems to come in waves. for months we wont have any activity at all then one day things start happening again. i dont understand it but i find it to be unsettling at times especially when objects move by them selves. i just thought someone might be interested in reading about my story. thank you
