Three Accidental OBEs

1. 1973? One day I came back from somewhere almost instantaneously..I don't know where I had been, as if I was not privileged to know. I came flying back through the window to my residential college room, looked at the clock saw that it was 7 o'clock, and said to myself, "It is time to wake up". Next thing I knew, I was in bed, opening my eyes and looking at the clock, which said 7 o'clock. I was amazed - I had been asleep, and seen the clock before waking up. Then I wondered "Where have I been?" I have no doubt at all, that I was out of my body and somewhere else.

2. 1978? I was driving from Brisbane to Gympie on a hot summer afternoon. Such a day makes me very drowsy, and it is very difficult not to fall asleep at the wheel. I managed to arrive at my sister's place safely, and immediately asked if I could just lie down and go to sleep on her bed. So I lay down and went to sleep. Next thing I knew, was that my arms and legs were sticking straight up in the air, vibrating. I thought to myself," What are my legs and arms doing up there? This is ridiculous. They should be flat on the bed straight beside my body (flat on my back)and my legs straight." I could not feel my limbs on the bed at all. "Where are they really?" Then I recalled that this might be projection and tried to see if I could completely separate. However I could not do so. Again in this instance I looked at the clock without opening my eyes, and woke up.

3. 1968? Having an afternoon nap. Found myself floating above my bed. I tried to move out through the windows, but I was unable to do so. Went back to sleep.
