Pendulum in the Basement

A few years ago, my friend Molly and I were staying at her house. I was around the age of 14. She was telling me that the previous owner of the house had died in the room that was now hers, which was in the basement, and that when they had moved in, they had found a dead black cat in the bathroom that is in the room. I thought nothing of the story at that time, but once it started to get dark, we decided to play with my pendulum. We, at first, were joking around and asking random questions, then shaking the pendulum trying to scare each other. But I decided to be serous for a minute, and asked if there was anyone else in the room. When the pendulum started to circle violently, we both freaked out. I then asked where they were, and the pendulum pointed straight at the bathroom. That's when Molly had the idea to draw up a Ouija board and try to get names.

we wrote the normal Ouija board lay out on a piece of paper, then used the pendulum for the pointer. The first question we asked was for a name. The pointer spelled out Harry. Then we asked for an age. It pointed out the age of 76. We asked for how they died, and it spelled out heart attack.

We then decided to go upstairs and ask about the former owner of the house. her father explained to us that the former owner's name was Harry, and that he died of a heart attack in the basement when he was in his mid-seventys. Needless to say, we didnt sleep in the basement that night.
