I was a child, not sure how old, but lets say around 9 or 10. I woke up in the middle of the night thirsty. I was ill, with a very high fever, so that was probably the cause for it, as I never usually woke up during nights.

I went downstairs, my mother was still awake. Asked her for something to drink, and she said I could take the Coca Cola and just use her cup.

I remember lifting the bottle and starting pouring, before I suddenly was up in the ceiling looking down at myself. My body fell to the floor - I had fainted. It was only a second or two that passed before I was sucked back in, and awoke on the floor in my mothers arms.

The feeling of being freed from my body is something I will never forget. It was so peaceful, there was no sound, and everything felt so soft.

When I woke up on the floor, it felt as if my body had been beaten and bruised, though it had not, and I was not in any actual pain. It was just sensing the difference from no body to back in body.
