Let Me Go

Hi my names Leah. 2 years ago i lost my mum through a car accident and i would never want to let her go that i kept crying every day and night. thats when i had an experiance that i think you should know. i was in london for 2 weeks just with my dad and my brother. i was very upset. so when we were staying at my grandmas and granddads house, so i had to go to bed but thats when my experiance happend.

i was just laying there thinking about what was i going to do tomorrow. so as my eyes just shut a voice came from next to me and said in my ear "let me go." i woke up straight away because it was clear as day. i got up and walked around the room and walked down the corridor even looking into my brothers room just to check he wasnt playing a prank on me.

So then i went back to bed and then shut my eyes again and the same thing happend to me saying again "let me go." but this time i never opend my eyes. i said out loud who are you? a reply came back saying im your mum. So i didnt hessitate. then i said what do you mean let you go? and then in reply because you worry too much and cry alot just please let me go. i said ok and the voice left. i knew it was my mum because of her voice.

i told my dad and my grandma and grandad and my brother. they knew what it was because they have had the same experiance that night too. my grandma explained to me your mum wants you to know that she is safe now and that you need to let her go for she is watching over you. it made me cry to know mum visited me that night not just me anyway but the rest of us.
